Dear CGU Community

We hope that you and your families are safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. CGU’s transition to online instruction and telecommuting has proceeded exceptionally well. Our community’s willingness, flexibility and patience has seen us through the technological and cultural challenges. As we continue to comply with the “Safer at Home” state and local guidelines, we are extending our online operations until further notice.

Summer Module 1, from May 18 – July 3, will be fully online. Should we be able to resume classes in person for the second module of the summer semester, students will be provided an option to complete their classes in the fully online format.

Although summer is not a required term for CGU students, we know that many students may be interested in summer classes. Please note that there are some classes that were designed to be fully online for our online students; these courses will be open to all students where there are available “seats.” Additional classes have been added in recent days, including Transdisciplinary Courses that satisfy the T-course requirement for doctoral students. The class schedule can be found at: https://mycampus.cgu.edu/web/mycampus/class-schedule.

If you are unsure about whether the available classes will help your continued academic progress, please contact your program coordinator as soon as possible to discuss possibilities.

Sincerely,
